5th and 6th graders have been practicing their reading fluency by reading aloud with a partner! As one student read, their partner listened carefully and provided helpful feedback on pace, expression, and accuracy.
This activity gave students the opportunity to practice reading smoothly and confidently while learning how to give and receive constructive feedback. We love seeing our students support one another and grow as readers!

Kindergartners, 1st and 2nd graders that stayed for the Reading Night activities enjoyed the special pirate theme. They read books, decorated pirate gear, created treasure maps and dug for hidden treasures.
This week got hands-on with science! Students tested different objects to see how mass affects the amount of force needed to move them. Lots of predictions, testing, and learning along the way!

7th & 8th graders practiced working as a team today. While one student was blindfolded, the other two students had to verbally tell them how to complete a puzzle. They did a great job of communicating to accomplish a goal.

As we prepare for an exciting school year, our teachers are working hard to create engaging, welcoming classrooms where every student can thrive. Many of our teachers have created Amazon Wish Lists with items that will directly support classroom learning and daily activities.
If you would like to help, we invite you to browse our teachers' wish lists and consider purchasing an item. Every donation—big or small—makes a meaningful difference and helps provide students with the resources they need for a successful year.
Your generosity and continued support of our teachers and students are greatly appreciated. We are thankful to partner with families like yours to make our classrooms the best they can be.
Thank you for investing in our students and supporting our amazing teachers. We are grateful for your kindness and partnership!

Tomorrow marks the last day of school, and it’s truly a bittersweet moment for me. After teaching this group of students for the past five years, it’s hard to believe my 6th graders are ready to move on to their next chapter. I am incredibly proud of each and every one of them—not only for how much they’ve grown academically, but for the kind, resilient, and unique individuals they have become. Watching them learn, laugh, overcome challenges, and support one another has been one of the greatest joys of my career. While I will miss them more than words can express, I know they are capable of amazing things, and I can’t wait to see all they accomplish in the future.
